angst
noun a feeling of deep anxiety or dread, typically an unfocused one about the human condition or the state of the world in general

apathy
noun lack of interest, enthusiasm, or concern

apprehension
noun anxiety or fear that something bad or unpleasant will happen

contempt
noun the feeling that a person or a thing is worthless or beneath consideration

dismay
noun concern and distress caused by something unexpected

disquiet
noun a feeling of worry or unease

dread
noun great fear or apprehension

ennui
noun a feeling of listlessness and dissatisfaction arising from a lack of occupation or excitement

hubris
noun excessive pride or self-confidence

incredulity
noun the state of being unwilling or unable to believe something

indignation
noun anger or annoyance provoked by what is perceived as unfair treatment

insecurity
noun uncertainty or anxiety about oneself; lack of confidence

melancholy
noun a feeling of pensive sadness, typically with no obvious cause

remorse
noun deep regret or guilt for a wrong committed

resentment
noun bitter indignation at having been treated unfairly

shame
noun a painful feeling of humiliation or distress caused by the consciousness of wrong or foolish behaviour
