“I’m sorry” exclaimed Aqua , her temper simmering inside of her,” I’m so sorry I lost it. I mean it was in my bag when I last checked, but I don’t know how it fell out of my bag.”
“Well, I don't care, I want my necklace back. You know it’s a treasured gift that I have from my grandma and I can't afford to lose it.” shouted Lucas. She could vividly recall the beautiful emerald necklace given to her by Lucas two weeks ago on a Friday, when it glistened in the sunshine, before he went on holiday for half term. He asked her to keep it safe while he was abroad and now she lost it. “And anyways I know you didn't lose it.” said Lucas.
“Oh good.” exclaimed Aqua, relief gushing through her, settling her rage from exploding. She was relieved that this didn't turn into a large squabble, like the many that have happened before, some of them for the most pathetic reasons.
“You stole it!” roared Lucas, his face burning with rage.
“WHAT! No, I certainly did not! How could you accuse me of such a thing!” screamed Aqua, her rage sweeping through her like a tidal wave again. She pushed her long blonde hair back as it cascaded down in front of her. That was the last straw. How could Lucas, her best friend, accuse her of stealing. She had to admit it didn't look good for her but she was furious that Lucas thought that she stole the necklace. Suddenly, she saw Cinnamon, her cat, who was named after her soft light brown fur, came running out to her. Aqua immediately picked her up and cuddled her. Cinnamon's soft fur was so pacifying and it calmed down the anger that was boiling inside of her only a few seconds ago. Then she stopped and looked at Lucas. He was rolling his eyes at Aqua. She turned to face him again.
“Lucas I never thought you would say that to me.Assuming that I stole it.I didnt think this would come from you,especially since we know each other so well. I'm going to leave.Bye Lucas.
“Your house is that way.”he replied,his voice sore and horse from the commotion,pointing his finger in the opposite direction that Aqua was going in.
“I’m going for a walk in the forest,”replied Aqua,”if you don't mind.” she added in,fury swallowing her again,carrying Cinnamon with her.
It was almost half an hour since she had the fight with Lucas.Aqua immensely regretted what had just happened.She was strolling through the forest,trying to comprehend what had happened. It all went too fast. She understood how important the necklace was to Lucas and she was angry with herself for losing it.Suddenly,she snapped out of her thoughts,realising that she was entering further into the forest.She peered at the time on her phone;8:30!!! She should be home by now!She broke into a sprint and Cinnamon followed behind her. The forest was like a dark,tangled maze. Aqua was trying to push away branches and leaves in her path to get out of the forest quick enough.She hoped Lucas was ok,but she had even bigger problems,what would her parents say if she was late? Then soon enough she halted,unaware of her surroundings.SHe had gotten so caught up in her thoughts about Lucas and what her parents would say if she was late ,that she realised that she had run even further into the forest.But this area felt even more ominous than the part of the forest that she was in before. It was cloaked in mist,the trees looked like ghostly,stooped figures.Out of nowhere, a voice,small yet distinct, resonated amongst the trees,”follow the glows,meet your new foes. Do not do this,your powers will go into the abyss.” The voice lingered in Aqua’s mind. What did this mean?What powers?What glow? She needed answers,which she was going to get only if she asked the anonymous voice.
“Hello? Is anyone there?I would like to follow these glows but I don't see them. What powers do I possess? Hello?” she questioned, gingerly stepping out into the small clearing, pushing back her hair and picking up Cinnamon in her trembling hands.She’d never been so scared. If only something could come and aid her in this dire situation.Then she heard a tinkle.A very light tinkle but she heard it coming from in front of her.A faint golden glow! This glow that the voice had mentioned was laying right in front of her.She saw it snaking off into the distance,beyond her view and into the mist.She looked behind her,thinking it would not be safe without anyone around.Plus,she wasn't an amazing fighter so she probably wouldn't be able to defend herself if anything came.She gulped,hoping that nothing would come in the way. Of course,on the other hand,if she went then she would find out about the voice and also about her powers that she supposedly had.She wondered if this was all true because there was no evidence that it truly was real.She might have been hearing voices and it certainly had been a long and tiring day.Her body and mind were fighting with each other.Then she realised something that made her change her mind.She would never get this opportunity again and the trails were already starting to fade away. She looked back at the forest behind her and then in front. Without hesitation,she took a deep breath and took a step forward.
As she entered further into the forest,the glow seemed to stop.She saw that the glow finished at a tree,right at the bottom. Aqua made a decision;she would do everything that the voice said and if she landed in trouble,well then she’d figure it out when the trouble came.She looked at the tree and touched it softly. She pulled her hand back quickly. It almost felt like it was hollow inside the tree.She hesitated.Who knew what was inside the tree? What if she wasn't ready for what was on the other side? “ I can do this.” she told herself.Cinammon also agreed that they could do this.Holding cinnamon and her bag which she had forgotten about and took a deep breath,hoping that she'd live to see the other side.BOOM!!!
Aqua opened her eyes and slowly started to make some forms of a figure, no two ,no it wasn't a person, it was ,was a statue.Aqua stood up and brushed herself off from all the dirt on the ground.She grabbed her bag and then slowly walked forward.There was a small plaque underneath the statue;she leaned in closer to see what said. Scratched onto the golden slate the words read: “complete the maze to find your possession,also reach your destination.” What possession was it that belonged to her? And what destination?thought Aqua. “Wait… Where’s Cinammon?” screamed Aqua,”Oh no,that must be the possession that this maze has for me at the end and where I enter my destination!Aghh I must go”she screeched.
Aqua tried to make it through the catacomb maze,but then all of a sudden,when she thought that not all the hope had been destroyed,a rumbling sound echoed through the catacombs.Aqua leaped out the path of this strange rumbling which seemed to take place in the middle of the catacombs.Behind the boulders that had been strewn across to the walls,the beast erupted from underneath the ground;a fire beast. It seemed almost like a dream.Aqua rubbed her eyes in amazement and tried to pinch herself a few times.She stood there in shock of this huge fire-engulfed monster that stood before her eyes. It was almost as tall as a double decker bus and the fire that it was made of trailed behind it as it moved inch by inch closer to Aqua.She knew that whatever she did,she would not be able to save herself from this unless she tried to use her powers.Yes,it seemed crazy but the only way she was going to survive to tell the tale was if she used her supposed powers.She held her hands before her and shouted out desperately,"Please powers help me when i am in grave peril!” She closed her eyes then opened them,almost feeling a jolt of energy flow into her.She opened her eyes,confidence shining in them.With all her might,she blew her hands towards it and she saw in surprise as a wave of water cast out of her hands and onto the beast. At once,there was steam around the whole catacombs as the water touched the fire beast.Aqua blew the steam away to reveal nothing.Just nothing.The beast had disappeared.And in front of her lay…”Cinamonn!”she exclaimed,all the fighting forgotten,and in bliss that she had found her faithful cat.Then,as she hugged Cinnamon,a figure strode towards her. As she emerged from the shadows,Aqua saw an average height lady dressed in a Victorian outfit with a long purple trench coat flowing down to her feet.Her eyes were a deep black and she had large puffy pink and blue hair pushed up on her hair.
“Well done Aqua.You have successfully passed all the tests;of loyalty,bravery and the ability to use your powers.You have now been entered into AM-AK;The Academy for Monsters of All Kinds.A letter will be sent to your parents by our delivery dragon shortly.You may follow with me and i will show you to your new school.” She escorted her to the entrance of the catacombs.
“Um excuse me,not to interrupt but could you explain what has just happened to me in the last five minutes?" questioned Aqua,trying to comprehend all this new information that had flooded from the lady’s mouth and into her head.
“Oh my, I'm so sorry.You have been accepted to come to our school for monsters,The academy for Monsters of All Kinds. I’m Headmistress Headgood and excuse me for a minute. I have to sort out my head. It can fly at times when I get very excited or…yes well anyway.You are a sea water monster and you possess the magic of water.And you cat possesses the magic of water as well.And also i need to help your transformation.Ah ,there we have finally exited the catacombs. Now, there’s the school.
The headmistress raised her hand to a huge castle filled with multicoloured lights streaming out of all the windows.There were some windows which were small and crooked and others large and very stable.There was a large field surrounding the whole school and an eerie forest on the back end.The whole view was incredible.She couldn't wait to start studying here!
“Oh thank you so much headmistress Headgood! I can't wait!” exclaimed Aqua.
“Your welcome.And now we can do your transformation.You can use this necklace like all the other students to turn into your human form anytime if you want to explore the human world,but carefully of course.”she replied.

Aqua was immensely shocked at her new self.She had blue gills as her ears and long hair with hints of yellow and pink but mostly blue.She had razor sharp teeth,like a great white shark and and gills on her legs,which smoothed into a light blue colour and she had bright pink shoes to finish it off.
“Wow Headmistress,i can hardly recognise myself,thank you so much!!!What about my cat though?” she commented.
“You can customise her whenever you like with your new iGhost,your new phone.” she told Aqua.
“Thank you Headmistress Headgood,” said Aqua,smiling at her cat,the Headmistress and her new exciting school,”I think I'm going to fit in just fine!”
