“Wait, didn’t I tell you I never want to see you again?” she gasped. “What are you doing? No, leave me alone! Stop! Aaaaaargh!”

“The court decided you won’t be arrested, but you’ll still have a punishment,” the lawyer said.
“Okay, hit me,” David replied.
“You’re on house arrest.”
“House arrest?!”
“It’s better than jail. You did punch your own customer.”
“Yeah, I guess,” David muttered.
David watched the new neighbours moving in. He went downstairs to his cousin. “Did you know we have new neighbours?”
“Yeah, I saw them during my run. They look our age,” Sienna said, glancing outside. She went back inside.
David stayed by the window, watching the newcomers.

“Hi, nice to meet you!” Diane smiled. Her brother walked over and asked, “Is the neighbourhood quiet?”
“Yeah, usually. But sometimes it can get a bit loud,” Sienna said.
David stepped off his yard, and his ankle bracelet beeped. He quickly stepped back.
Diane’s brother raised an eyebrow. “I bet it gets loud here sometimes.”
David just nodded and stepped away.
Later, David was in his room, looking out the window. He saw someone in all black, dragging a long, strange-shaped bag across the yard toward the neighbours’ shed.
David stared, wide-eyed. “Wait… is that what I think it is?”
