Summer is Arising by Berfin O

As the dark days end

and the sun arises from the ominous clouds,

I linger the smell of the fresh grass cut,

and the birds chirping through the meadow.

As the sweet, serene flowers bloom,

bumblebee's buzz across the luminous sky

darting their way holding their pollen pegs.

The feeling of summer arising every day,

makes me no longer weary but filled with joy.

As the winter frost melts to a summery glow,

the golden light awakes the sleeping fields.

The tranquillity soothes me as I gaze.

I gaze as the days are slowly dying, yet it feels so peaceful.

How is it that a season can bring together so many?

A season that casts warmth to people,

it unites us all.

Now I may be dramatic,

but this season gives magic.

I don’t want this to end,

but someday it will

and I will reminisce the days.

The days that I felt free.
